The Equipment Leasing Registration Authority (ELRA) has reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the interests of equipment lessors and lessees registered on its portal.

During a meeting with Supreme Court Justice Tijani Abubakar, ELRA Registrar/CEO Donald Wokoma emphasized the importance of full compliance with the Equipment Leasing Act of 2015 and highlighted the sector’s potential to boost Nigeria’s non-oil revenue. He also sought the Supreme Court’s support in strengthening the agency’s mandate. In response, Justice Abubakar stressed the value of targeted awareness campaigns to foster collaboration between ELRA and relevant stakeholders.
