ELRA AND BPP SET UP COMMITTEE TO ENFORCE LEASING COMPLIANCE IN NIGERIA!

ELRA and the Bureau of Public Procurement have formed a joint committee to make sure all leasing companies working with public funds are fully registered and compliant. From now on, having an ELRA Registration Certificate will be mandatory for any leasing firm involved in government contracts. This rule will be added to BPP’s standard bidding documents.
During a visit to BPP in Abuja, ELRA CEO Mr. Donald Wokoma said the move will help protect public funds and raise industry standards. BPP DG Dr. Adebowale Adedokun also backed the plan, saying it will boost transparency in public leasing. The 7-member committee has two weeks to come up with a full action plan.
